Cornerstones of Care volunteer opportunities:

National Family Week Celebration - Cornerstones of Care annaully honors those chosen as Outstanding Family Adovcates by our agencies. You can help!
Gifts4Kids - Providing school supplies, holiday or birthday gifts to a child in care is a wonderful way to teach your children the joy of giving. Perhaps your church group or book club is looking for a way to give back. Holidays are not the only time that chldren have needs. Shoes, shirts and underwear are among the things that children in foster care need most. Books to improve reading skills, journals, and gift cards let a child know that someone cares.
With your donation of time, financial support or other gift to Gifts4Kids, you will be able to use your dollars and time where you think they are most necessary. Whether you would like to support a Cornerstones of Care annual event, Heart Gallery showing, adoption education/recuitment programs, gift baskets, or Life Books, your dollars will be used to help families and children find each other and bring hope to the lives of many. Make a difference in the life of a child with your donation!
Corporate Support can include:
Sponsor a Heart Gallery showing - Learn more about the Heart Gallery Missouri
Host a Heart Gallery exhibit at your business, a gallery or a museum
Provide a scholarship to a foster child for lessons or camp
Donate gift certificates, reading glasses, or coats for chldren and their families
Donate books and school supplies to help meet our children's educational needs
Feature a foster or adoptive parent recruitment campaign in your company or organization newsletter

Individual Support can include:
Volunteer your time

Donate new toys and gift cards for foster children during the holidays
Donate clothing, back packs and school supplies for foster children
Donate gift cards to foster parents
Volunteer to provide temporary or "respite" care to a child every few weekends
Help chldren and caseworkers assemble a child's Life Book (a scrapbook to help the child prepare for adoption)
Talk to your faith-based organization about sponsoring a Heart Gallery exhibit or event |
