Bringing families back together.

We offer a variety of intervention services that partner with families to help them reunify after removal and then safely keep their family unit together moving forward. The following services work together to provide immediate intervention, behavioral and mental health treatment, as well as provide emotional support to parents/caregivers after a child has been removed from their home and they are now working towards reunification.

Family Reunification Services (FRS)

Sometimes children have to be removed from their family home in order to ensure their safety, but many will have the goal of reunification back with their families as soon as it is safe to do so. By building on established family strengths, addressing areas of concern, and empowering positive family interactions, our Family Reunification Services (FRS) program helps families achieve the goal of getting their children back home.

This intensive 8-12 week in-home program offers the family:

  • Access to a FRS Specialist who will spend  7-13 hours a week with the family in their home
  • Support during the transition home; addressing any arising issues, teaching needed skills, as well as being accessible 24/7 via cell phone
  • Solution-focused therapy, teaching problem-solving and life skills to de-stress their daily lives and improve their relationships by interacting in a healthy manner.
  • Connections to available community resources so that they have ongoing support and are able to access what they need for the future.
