Sanctuary Model

Cornerstones of Care is dedicated to creating a therapeutic learning and living environment for the children and families we serve, and for our staff. A unique benefit of Cornerstones of Care is our stability. We are comprised of 30+ programs offered throughout the Midwest, and have five physical campuses, as well as many locations throughout Missouri and Kansas. Our five campuses have a long history of service to the community. Three of our campuses have been in existence for more than 100 years. Their ability to evolve to meet the needs of children and families is a quality mirrored in the organization as it exists today.


Benefits are available to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week and include medical, dental, vision, group life and AD&D, long-term disability, voluntary life and AD&D, voluntary short-term disability and 401(K) plans. Employees receive an employee assistance program (EAP), which provides confidential services for a wide range of everyday or unexpected concerns, as well as resources aimed at growth and development. The EAP is free to employees, and includes up to 6 face-to-face sessions per concern. Employees also participate in a cafeteria plan for pre-tax child care and medical reimbursement expenses. Cornerstones of Care also offers its employees leadership training programs, computer software classes, and a transfer policy that allows employees to move to another location while retaining tenure and benefits.
