GIVE FINANCIALLY

Financial contributions of any amount significantly impact the lives of the children, young adults, and families in our care. Your generosity allows us to provide the support they need to succeed while continuing to develop and grow our programs and expand our impact area in Kansas and Missouri.

How Your Gift Can Make a Difference

  • Create a sense of joy by providing a gift to a child on their first birthday away from home.
  • Assist with a month’s rent and utilities for a young adult formerly in foster care, now living independently for the first time.
  • Contribute to prevention services that help break the cycle of trauma and create stronger, more resilient families and communities.

How to Make a Financial Contribution

You can donate online, over the phone, or via mail. While undesignated gifts provide maximum flexibility for addressing the treatment and care of our youth, you may designate your donation to go toward a specific program or project. If you choose to designate your gift, please include instructions for how you would like your contribution to be used.

Cornerstones of Care is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity –

Tax ID: 43-1689138.

Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and a charitable gift receipt will be provided to you.

If you choose to mail your gift, please include all your contact information and any special instructions for your donation. All mailed checks should be made out to “Cornerstones of Care” and sent to:

monthly giving

Did you know you can sign up online to become a monthly or quarterly donor? Help sustain our mission of partnering for safe and healthy communities by making an automatic, recurring gift. In return, you will receive special invitations from us throughout the year and feel the rewarding satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of thousands of children and families.

Our Monthly Giving program provides year-round support while allowing you to give within your budget. By becoming a monthly donor, you will:

  • Ensure the stability of our ongoing work.
  • Provide more purchasing power by reducing processing fees.
  • Effectively manage your budget through a donation plan of your choice.

Get started by scheduling the monthly amount you’d like to donate. Your donation will automatically be accepted at the same time every month. On our registration page, we suggest giving amounts, but you can determine an amount that meets your needs.

  • Our first suggested monthly amount, $18.70, is based on our founding year. That monthly amount will support our youth in residential care.
  • Should you choose to give at our next suggested amount of $36, you will provide school supplies or clothes to youth in our care.
  • At our $72 amount, you will help provide a family with therapy.

You can be confident that your monthly gift will benefit our children and families — Cornerstones of Care is certified Platinum in donor transparency by GuideStar, the leading information resource for nonprofits.
