Holiday Gifts

Individuals and groups can spread some holiday cheer by providing gifts for children and families in our care (or $10 gift cards to Walmart or Target). Contact Head Elf Kristen Zucht at to learn more about either program.

  • Sponsor a Youth —"Sponsor" a youth in our care to give them a joyous holiday by purchasing items off their holiday wish list, which will be posted in October/November. Due to the nature of our work, new wish lists will be added through November as new children are brought into our care.
  • Gift Gallery — Donate new, unwrapped items for children, teens and adults for our Gift Gallery. Families in our community-based programs get to shop at the Gift Gallery at no cost to ensure everyone in the household has a gift to open during the holidays.

We partner with MAJ-R Thrift to provide curbside donation pick-ups and convenient drop-off bins throughout the city for your gently used items. Those items are then sold at one of their local thrift store locations. A portion of sales are donated back to us each month. If you would like to schedule a curbside pick-up, you will work directly with MAJ-R Thrift to coordinate those details when one of their trucks will be in your area next. You can schedule a pick-up time online based on when trucks will be in your neighborhood. They also provide convenient donation bins located throughout the city for you to donate smaller items.
