Ways to Donate During the Holidays to Cornerstones of Care

This holiday season, there are so many meaningful ways to support the children, youth, and families we serve. Whether you give your time, donate gifts, or make a financial contribution, your generosity helps make the holidays brighter for those who need it most.

Support NASB (North American Savings Bank) Holiday Giving

Each year, our NASB Holiday Giving event spreads joy to youth in foster care through two special opportunities:

  • Buy gifts for our Holiday Gift Gallery: Youth in care can “shop” for presents for themselves and their loved ones from donated items.
  • Sponsor a youth: Receive a wish list created by a specific young person and shop for gifts just for them.

All gifts are dropped off at our NASB location, where our team and volunteers make the magic happen.

Volunteer with Us

We also need volunteers to help set up and work at NASB—organizing gifts, assisting youth as they shop, and spreading holiday cheer. If you’d like to join in, sign up to volunteer here.

Give on Giving Tuesday — December 2

Mark your calendars for Giving Tuesday! It’s a global day of generosity, and every gift you make to Cornerstones of Care helps create safe, healthy, and happy futures for kids and families. Watch your inbox and our social media channels for details on how to give when the day arrives.

Maximize Your Giving with DAFs, IRAs, and Stocks

Would you like to create a gift that not only supports Cornerstones of Care today—but also keeps making an impact in the future? With smart giving options like Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), IRA Charitable Rollovers, and Gifts of Securities, you can create a legacy of lasting change while enjoying valuable tax benefits. Please reach out if:

  • You plan to recommend a grant to us from your DAF.
  • You’re interested in directing a charitable IRA gift to us.
  • You want to donate stocks from your investment portfolio.

Simply consult your financial advisor to determine what works best for your specific situation. If you’re over 70½, for example, you may be able to give up to $108,000 directly from your traditional IRA to a qualified charity tax-free while counting it toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) if applicable. Contact us anytime to learn more about the variety of ways you can support our mission!

Your support—no matter how you choose to give—helps make the holidays (and every day) brighter for those we serve.
