Provide Mental Health Support to Early Education Centers

Cornerstones of Care is building a groundbreaking health care team to address mental, emotional, and behavioral health care for children from birth to preschool age, their families, and staff at five early childhood centers in metropolitan Kansas City.

Cornerstones of Care will serve as the primary partner for this project, funded by a three-year grant from the Anchors of Tomorrow Fund established by the Hall Family Foundation. These positions will provide assessment, case management, counseling, and training. The University of Missouri-Kansas City will be a funded partner to provide interns as well as research and evaluation of the project’s success. The team will identify infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with unmet behavioral health needs and increase services to promote long-term well-being.
