Lydia brings more than 15 years in non-profit management to her role as Chief Advancement Officer. During that time, she has developed, implemented, and evaluated fundraising programs at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, ArtsKC, and the KU Endowment, KU Academic Medical Center. After two years in the for-profit sector, Lydia is returning to work at a child welfare nonprofit.
“I am tremendously excited to return to this impactful work on behalf of Cornerstones of Care.,” Lydia said. “I look forward to coming alongside the Executive Leadership Team, Advancement department and Board to elevate our work and ensure continued, meaningful support for the children, families, and communities we serve across Kansas, Missouri, and beyond.”
Lydia is a graduate of Butler University with a degree in Arts Administration. She and her husband have, themselves, benefitted from Cornerstones of Care programming. For the past four years, they have been foster parents licensed through the organization.
In her new position, Lydia will oversee all aspects of advancement work, including the organization’s fundraising portfolio, grant applications, volunteer programs, marketing outreach, and business development to expand earned income from current programs.
